The Missions Experience
April. Spring is in the air, and it feels good to finally get some rain on the ground. Let’s hope it’s a good sign for what’s to come. Speaking of what’s to come, Praise God for the news of the contract signing on our new property. Keep your eyes and ears open for news to come.
Our Bible in One Year study continues. We are reading about the Minor Prophets and Gideon. I love this history lesson of him and the fleece offering. God always answers prayer, showing us the way. Join us in our study of God’s Word. It’s never too late to begin. The link is on our website’s Home Page.
Visit the church’s website to see What’s Happening at FBC Charlotte. It has just been updated. You can read about and sign up for events, give tithes and offerings, and contact us.
We now have an ASL interpreter available for our second service!

Our Mission Opportunities
Revival Services are Sunday, March 30th - Wednesday, April 2nd. Put this on your calendar and begin to pray about who you can invite. Pray and prepare our hearts for what God has planned for FBC Charlotte.
We have recently voted to move forward with the plan to purchase the property on Highway 97. Keep in mind, this is contingent upon an environmental study. If there should be issues with the land, we would be able to decide not to move forward with the purchase. If the land passes inspection we can continue with plans and make this building our new home.
FBCC Youth Ministry News
Hello all! This month we are looking forward to the Pre-Easter Retreat, which happens the Thursday through Saturday before Easter at Alto Frio Baptist Camp. We currently have 27 students signed up to attend, but are hoping for more, especially those who are lost.
This is a great opportunity for students to get away and consider, ponder, and discuss the atoning sacrifice and resurrection of the Son of God. The weekend has the potential to be life-changing as students encounter the Living God.
Would you please pray for us as we go, that God would get students’ attention and speak to them so clearly that they have an undeniable encounter with him? A weekend of camp is fun, but an encounter with God changes everything, and that’s what I am hoping for.
Please also pray for our bus ride, for wellness, and that God’s good, pleasing, and perfect will be done.
In Jesus,
John Mark

A Word From Pastor Duane
Psalm 115:1-2: “Not unto us O Lord, not unto us, but to Your name give glory, because of Your mercy, because of Your truth. Why should the Gentiles say, “So, where is their God?”
We have closed on the property at 748 E. Hindes Ave.! It belongs to the Lord, and we get to use it for His glory. His great name is to be honored because of His mercy and truth. I pray people will KNOW who and where our God is.
Thank you, Lord, for providing! Thank you, Church, for giving, praying, and serving in this process! To God be the glory!
Please continue praying as we move forward to plan, build, and occupy that space. We need God’s timing, wisdom, and direction for His desire to be fulfilled. In addition to praying, would you, if you have not already, join us in giving above your tithe to finish the work so those around us will KNOW God has done this, and we have had the privilege of joining Him. Thank you in advance.
Revival services are upon us – March 30 – April 2, and Easter Sunday is just around the corner – April 20th. Continue to pray for people to be saved, baptized, and discipled. Invite someone to join you as we worship the RISEN Lord!
VBS is June 1-5, save those dates, pray, serve, and invite your family, neighbors, and acquaintances to register and attend. It’s going to be great!
I am so blessed to serve the Lord and you. Thank you for being in our church family! I love you all!
~~ Pastor Duane
